  • If the devil cant stop the  the wagon , he will climb up on to the box and drive- Irish proverb

That says it all !!  we neglect so much and fail to see our direction just because we think we are moving- we must be pleasing God in every thing.

scavenger hunts are awesome=  but i want to play one instead of organize one for once.

D- Now was awesome  had the best time-Sunday Morning was extravagant- Jesus showed up- which is huge for our church- serious.  our interpretive movent had people cry'n you 'd thought we were at praise cath( not nok'n just saying we be baptist- ha

     my office is a refrigerator

i have to have a conversation with one of the interns before he graduates at the end of the month-- i don't want to be all mean- but he has got to hear some things about how he approaches ministry. and authority.  he is a great guy- just  isn't all  that( who is?)  i  want it to be positive  but he usually takes out his frustration  with professors and others on face Book- ( i wont to be the cool mentor youth pastor for the interns- ha)- and i don't wish to be  on that list- ha  C'st la vie.-- working on the passive agressive stuff???? yep

  • new   Dr.   Who  Next week ---yes happy me.

well i'm  excited   we're getting ready to put a down payment on a big disney trip for next Christmas-- I am the only Adult male i know who loves Disney-- I believe Teresa and I like it better then our Girls-  ( teresa and i just become big kids and drag our girls every where-- we can escape into  any where but here type attitude) any who we have never stayed on the disney campus  and we are going as a Family graduation celebration.  Teresa has gotten me through school and the whole family has been patient, and sacrificial  i just have to get these last classes passed.. next semester  is only 10 hours.

the rest is just personal  thoughts- read them any one if you wont- i'm gonna treat Xanga as a journal since none of my students are on here.  hardly any freund as well. so God Bless, peace

so i'm writing this huge paper for  this class i'm taking on Galatians-- struggling to come up with 25-30 pages of my own words ( funny that is what i should be doing  now- i keep telling my self this is just a break, but i'm stalling- ha)

any way i 'm blow away with chapter 3--   when i try to explain it - most people say yeah i understand- and go on-- but seriously most people actually don't get it!!!!!    they don't see how their mind dismisses  it.    I grew up in an environment that was heavy in the dispensations  like  this is the Church age- and  during the tribulation  God will turn back to Israel.  and yatta yattah-- ( I'm still not sure how i feel about the dispensations yet- but any who)  so  but my whole life i've been taught mixed signals about how the Jews like moses, and daniel and Father Abraham received their Justification.  you see i was taught that they looked to the Messiah to Come, but also that they had to Keep the law of Moses, and make blood sacrifices- and such--- and that although it was never necessarily said   they was saying, the law was part of their salvation..     I always heard phrases like " we are adopted in to   being sons of God-- that Israel is Gods Chosen People"--  leaving the feeling that  i was by Grace a second hand child-

BUt the question is who was Abraham what was the promise Given to Him By God.  What did Simeon mean in Luke 2 when he held the Babe Christ child up and say  " salvation prepared in the presece of all peoples,.... A light of revelation to the Gentiles, and the Glory of your people Israel."

First  Abraham  was a Gentile hard to swallow  i know- but he was the Ancestor of the people called Israel.

Second the Law was not given to Abraham.  but To Moses   How many Years after????????

Third Abraham had how many sons???    well if you red their Ishmail( hagar),  Who we see helped Isaac burry his father  when He died- so he was in the picture for a long time.   Isaac ( the child of Promise) and a whole bunch more with another women after sarah died

Galatians 3 talks of the seed of Abraham  not seeds---

To cut to the chase--  Galatians 3:6 says   "abraham Believed God and it was Counted to Him as Rigteousness.  Vs 7 says that  it is Those who are of Faith  who are sons of Abraham. vs 8 the Gospel was preached to Abraham  so that all nations would be blessed through Him..    Israel was  the poster child---  The law was to show the need for justification.  but later as you read the law does nothing but curse, and condemn-- It can not save!!!!!  Jewish people weren't spacial-- many fell away only keeping the law-- it is those who believed in the coming of Christ who were the true jews-- a true remnant- and  God made allotment for me to be among the true Jews  not a step child.

Jesus Christ is the True Adam, He is the true Israel  He is the Promise.  Vs 26 For we are all sons of God through Faith in Christ Jesus.  vs 28 there is neither Jew, nor Greek, there is neither  slave, nor free man, neither male , nor female---  you (believers in the promise) are  all one in Christ.-- vs 29    And if you  belong to Christ, then you are Abraham's descendants, heirs according to promise.  i am actually part of true Isreal, i was alloted for with Abraham the one who received the promise.  i am art of the numbers he was to count in the sky-- there is one salvation  and that comes only from belief- not birth.

this really kinda tipsy the dispensation theory-- we''ll get back about that some time later.

  • Merry Day After Christmas

Well with all the craziness of Family gathering over,  I sit back and reflect on presents received , but not actually cared for, trying to appear grateful. For the shoes I would never wear , or the re gift  I  know was in their house for a year--- And felling Guilty for it all..

I instantly go back further to Christmas Eve, and the service.  I was true worship, and I am so grateful for the Gift of Christ.   Christmas leads to Easter- and Praise God for it.

About a week ago I heard a song that said “ did the Cross cast a shadow over your cradle--- were you just a baby or were you as old as time?”

I can’t get through those words—God, infinite in Time lowered Him self to experience life like we do – so He can not only  save us from  eternal separation, but experience us  Know us..  Thank you Jesus  for your love, your grace, and your friendship,  I don’t deserve it- Yet you never leave me.

Were Mary’s the first eyes you saw
or did you remember choosing that shade of brown?
Were You surprised at the shepherd’s crazy story
Or did You know You wrote the song the angels sang?

What was this life like for You?

    Did You know?
Did the cross cast its shadow o’er your cradle?
    Did You know?
Did You shudder each time Your hammer struck a nail?
    Did you know?
How much heaven and how much earth
Were in this baby at His birth?
Did you know? Or did you wonder?

Did you remember the brightness of Your glory Or did You just notice it was cold and dark here?
Did You know Your name or did you have to be told?

Were You just a baby or were You as old as time?

    What was Your life like?

    Did you Know—by Todd Agnew
